THIRD ANNUAL HUGS NOT HITS RIDE ON SATURDAY, APRIL 4




WHAT:
The Monique Burr Foundation for Children will host its Third Annual Hugs Not Hits Ride on Saturday, April 4, presented by Big Bike Motorcycles, First Coast Honda St. Augustine, First Coast Suzuki St. Augustine, Ash Properties and Woody’s Bar-B-Q. The ride raises money to support the Foundation and its mission to prevent child abuse.
WHERE: Registration for the 60-mile ride will begin at 8 a.m. at Big Bike Motorcycles located at 3842 Sunbeam Road in Jacksonville.

Saturday, April 4
Check-in: 8 a.m. at Big Bike Motorcycles
Ride begins: 10:30 a.m.
Post-ride event: Noon at the Durbin Crossing Shopping Center
DETAILS: Local celebrity and WJXT Morning Show meteorologist Richard Nunn and his wife Cyndi Nunn will lead riders on a 60-mile journey around Jacksonville ending at Durbin Crossing Shopping Center located at Old St. Augustine Road and Philips Highway. Lunch will be provided by Woody’s Bar-B-Q, refreshments from Pepsi and Southern rock music provided by SouthBound.
At noon, the post-ride event will begin. Riders and the general public can bid on silent auction items donated by participating vendors to help raise funds for the Foundation. A motorcycle expo will be open to all riders and the public where they can view some of the latest motorcycle models, sports vehicles, accessories and services.
TICKETS:Tickets are $30 for general riders, $20 for passengers and $250 for VIP riders, including passengers. Tickets can be purchased at Big Bike Motorcycles, First Coast Honda St. Augustine and First Coast Suzuki St. Augustine or online at moniqueburrFoundation.org.
