Alpha Jax Foundation - Monique’s Kids After-School Tutorial Program
Alpha Jax Foundation Monique’s Kids After School Tutorial Program began in
January 2009. The program is a free service. It is designed to help students
work on their academic areas of deficiency. The program relies on a teacher’s
classroom evaluation and academic assessment of students as a starting
point. It then uses a holistic approach to teaching and learning in order to
meet the educational and personal development needs of students enrolled in
the program.
The goal of the program is to provide students with the supportive academic
assistance and guidance that is needed to enable them to read at or above
a grade level upon their exit from the current grade and to assist them
in other academic studies as identified by their current classroom teacher.
